Each Inspector Guitars instrument is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase, subject to the limitations described below.
This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original retail purchaser when the instrument is purchased from an Authorized Inspector Guitars Dealer. IMPORTANT: PLEASE RETAIN YOUR ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT, AS IT IS YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE VALIDATING THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND IS REQUIRED FOR ALL WARRANTY SERVICE REQUESTS.
Within the period of this warranty, Inspector Guitars will repair or replace, at its discretion, free of charge, any Inspector Guitars instrument or part thereof, which, under normal use and conditions, is proven defective in material and workmanship.
All warranty repairs and service must only be performed at an Authorized Inspector Guitars service center. Any service performed by unauthorized persons will void this warranty. Inspector guitars shall not be held liable for any and all defects or damage caused by services performed by unauthorized persons.
This Warranty is Subject to the following Limitations and Exclusions
The following items are not covered by this warranty:
Any instrument, whose serial number is missing, altered or tampered with in any fashion.
Any instrument that was NOT purchased from an Authorized Inspector Guitars dealer
Any instrument upon which any unauthorized repair or service has been performed.
shipping damages of any kind;
any damage to an instrument (mechanical, thermal, electrical etc.) resulting from improper storage, care and maintenance including cases of small items, insects, liquids etc. getting inside of the instrument;
Instruments that have been subjected to extreme temperature or humidity, chemicals, synthetic materials or other abnormal conditions.
Setups, adjustments, tonal characteristics or routine maintenance of any kind (including neck/truss rod adjustments, string changes, action adjustment, intonation, or loose hardware.)
Normal wear and tear on any part of the instrument, case or gig bag including jacks, controls, switches, plated surfaces, tuning machines, pick-guards, zippers, clasps, handles, latches, case hardware etc.
All other damage and deterioration due to normal usage, wear and tear, aging, Acts of God, including but not limited to flooding, hurricane, earthquake, extreme environmental conditions, natural disaster or other events outside the control of the manufacturer
defects have been caused by negligence, accident, misuse, improper operation or any other causes not related to defective materials or workmanship.
